RED CARPET: il cinema dei sogni.
Campari e lโimmaginario del divismo, 1900โ1960
October 23, 2025 โ June 2, 2026
Curated by Giulia Carluccio
Galleria Campari presents a new exhibition exploring the phenomenon of stardom in cinema in relation to advertising and communication strategies of the time.
The exhibition project retraces over sixty years of film history from an unusual perspective, where art, advertising, fashion, and contemporary celebrity culture converge. Cinema and the star system are presented in dialogue with the production and communication strategies that helped shape the imagery of the early twentieth century.
Alongside works from the Campari Historical Archive, the exhibition features loans from the Museo Nazionale del Cinema di Torino, Magnum Photos โ including a selection from Philippe Halsmanโs iconic โJumpโ series and works by Eve Arnold, Burt Glinn, and David โChimโ Seymour โ dallโAchivio Luce Cinecittร , dal Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione Universitร degli Studi di Parma, dalla Collezione Bortone Bertagnolli, Collezione Bortone Bertagnolli, Collezione Dario Cimorelli, Vogue, ยฉCondรฉ Nast, Ministero della Cultura โ Pinacoteca di Brera โ Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense di Milano.

GALLERIA CAMPARI
Galleria Campari opened in 2010 for the 150th anniversary of Campari. It is in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan, in the Headquarters of Campari Group designed by the internationally renowned architect Mario Botta. Galleria Campari is home to interactive installations and iconic original posters, drawings, sketches, artistsโ books, from the beginning of the 1900 until modern times by important artists such as Dudovich, Nizzoli, Cappiello, Depero, Munari. In addition, Galleria Campari narrates the profound relationship between Campari and the world of cinema through the Italian โCaroselliโ of the 1960s/1970s; the TV commercials by directors such as Fellini and Singh Tarsem; and short movies designed by Sorrentino, Sollima and Garrone.
GALLERIA CAMPARI COLLECTION
The space also shows a selection of original mixology tools; historical bottles and glasses; vintage merchandising and contemporary design pieces. With a history as deep and rich as the flavor of the liquid itself, Campari has a unique heritage and story to tell which may start in 1860 but goes beyond the present to clearly mark its path into the future.
